    Complex datatypes

I have some experience with .NET, but am new to Umbraco.  I understand that there are 2 ways to create custom data types.  One is to use the user control wrapper.  That doesn't seem very useful except for very simple cases.  There is a second way which is more complicated.  I can't find any information about this second method.  Is there any documention/videos out there that I can use?  If not, are there any open source examples that I can use as an example?

Maybe this can put you on the way : http://www.nibble.be/?p=50

Or find one here with the source code : http://our.umbraco.org/projects/tag/datatype#projectList

You could also look at the source code of the datatypes that come with umbraco.
