    Where in the DB is role based protection stored

    I have a problem with an update, that seems to have trashed all my role based protection.

    I wonder where in the DB info about which nodes are protected is stored ?

    It is stored in ~/app_data/access.config

    Actually in Umbraco 4.0.2.1 the information on protected pages seems to be in the file ~/data/access.xml.

    There is no app_data folder.

    Copying the ~/data/acces.xml file from my backup to the updated 4.0.4.2 site solved the problem.

    The updated site does have a app_data folder but it is empty.....

    Sorry you are right versions before 4.5 use ~/data/access.xml indeed.
