I have created a database on my host and a username and password.
I created a blank project in VS. I then installed Umbraco through Nuget and launched it without debugging.
I went through setup choosing Microsoft SQL and entering in my details.
Worked perfectly.
So i begin to create document types and templates and then fill them with HTML.
I publish the site through VS to my domain host. The files go up. I then browse to the domain and it displays a blank page. If i do domain/umbraco i can login and see the templates/ views but they have no HTML.
I check the file server and none of the views are there, they are not being published.
I changed all the permissions and that has allowed me to get this far.
How can i force visual studio to publish everything?
When I do copy across the database and allow read/write permissions on file manager. It doesnt recognise it and presents the website as if it had no content. I cant login at /umbraco either.
