Take a look at either http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/standard-website-mvc or http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/standard-website depending on what Umbraco version you are using. These both have slideshows and can show you how to make any sldeshow work with Umbraco.
