    Form Attachments

    Hello,

Posting this following a brief conversation with Tim Geyssens on Twitter. I am trying to send attachments using Contour. I am using Umbraco 7.2.6 and UmbracoForms.Package.4.1.3

I have a fairly large form at http://facilitiesinitiative.org/schools-csos/request-state-participation/ - if you scroll down to question number 10 it is a file input field. The input field appears to work correctly from the end users perspective but there is no attachment with the email or even a mention of it on the Entries tab in Forms.

I had a similar issue back in Umbraco 6 - and posted the issue (and solution) on this thread https://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/43774-Attachments-not-being-sent. I thought I read somewhere that in 7.2 it worked "auto-magically". But no luck.

Should I need to install Contrib? Is Contrib even 7.2 ready? The solution that I found back on that older post of adding it as a UserControl is out in 7.2, so I'm wondering what to try next.

    Thanks for any pointers.

    -Roger

    Hey,

For it to attach it to the mail you simply have to enable the setting on the workflow, have you checked if that is enabled?

Well now I am embarrassed..haha. No it was not enabled.

How is it that I can stream through thousands of lines of code and find the missing comma, but didn't notice a clearly labeled checkbox?

    Thanks Tim.
