    Move more than 5000 nodes?

Hi, I have a working Courrier 2 express. We use it to upload changes from dev to prod site. I just import a little more than 5000 nodes in the dev site. Will Courrier be able to deploy that much nodes to the production site?

    Thank you.

    Simon

    Hi Simon

With the current version of courier (2.1) that would time-out as it runs in the context of a web-application. So the current solution has been to use the Courier Console application to such heavy transfers

However, in version 2.5 everything is moved into a background task-manager which can handle very long running tasks, so unless you run out of memory or storage, that should be able to transfer those 5000 nodes.

    Hi Per,

I'm running the stable release so 2.1.1. I'm not sure how I can use the Console application, so I guess I should take a look at 2.5. Thank you for your help.
