Hi, We are using 8.16 and when ever we update/save content, we get the sql lock timeout error, is anyone having the similar issues? please advice or any help welcome.

Hello Lokesh, it happened to me a bunch of times, but not every time as you say.
My explanation at the time was that we were saving the same content with multiple users, but I don't think this is the issue.
I'm looking forward to see if there is anyone else that can provide a better answer.
Thank you Martino, This happens only on load balanced environments, works fine with single node. If i find any solution, will update this thread.
