    URL of articles

I created an articles parent with article items underneath, and they mostly work properly, but their URLs are not what I was expecting.

    • I want example.com/articles/my-first-article
    • I get example.com/my-first-article

Is there a way to achieve this?

I'm on Umbraco CMS 11, and I followed the tutorial at https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/tutorials/creating-a-basic-website/article-parent-and-article-items

    Hi Ashley,

I'm guessing you created the Articles node in the root then? If you have a Home or Site (or similar) node at the root, you can allow the Articles doctype underneath it and then move it there, to get the /articles/article-name/ URLs.

    Hope this helps,
